Sacrificial Rites Quest
Starting NPC: Almgar at 6 30 in Typhons Reach.Level Requirement: 48 - Istria Moonwillow
Comments on Solo, Grouped, or Battlegrouped:
Can do solo if you can solo a red. A mana eld was able to solo this.
Steps:
1) Talk to Almgar.2) Kill a lava bug (red to 50) and salamander (orange to 50, very high hps, instant root and dd).
3) Return to Almgar and give items to him.
4) Almgar gives you a ring. Go to 24.8k 41.3k, which is a huge boulder with some small rocks near by it. Stand by the rock and you will get a message saying this is the rock. /dig, then /bury.
5) Return to Almgar.
6) Almgar gives you a lvl 5 weapon. You now need to kill a Saim-he while you have the weapon in your inventory. Don't need to kill it with the weapon.
7) Meet Almgar at the rock where you /bury'ed the ring.
8) Talk to Almgar.
9) Put the weapon on your hotbar and use it.
10) Talk to Almgar.
11) Find and kill Veldnar 20.4k 23.6k.
12) Return to Almgar at the original place for your reward. You don't have a choice on it. Nov 18

Tips:
As a mana eld I did it solo, was easy to kill the lava bug, but the salamander was very tough. I had to kite and killed it with about 20% hps left.

I found <the circle of rocks>, it's near the platform on the lava river a bit to the south or SE of him. Watch out for the wandering group that brings sacrifices to the platform

NE of the guy that gives the quest on a slight hill just south of the Taur Bridge, SE of the Sphinxes. No bridges need be crossed to find him.
