Can do with 2 people (lvl 50s)
Steps:
-Talk to Breward in Aerus Haven.
-Kill Loner Centaur (oj/red)
-Kill Self Maintaining Statue (Extremely annoying red that self heals)
-Kill two Cyclop Agnomons (red), they have to be the ones south of the self-maintaining statues.
-Go back to Breward, who takes the four items you got and makes a potion for you.
-Go to the south border of Green Glades near where Arbor Glen is. There will be a set of ruins with Guardian Statues and Vigilant Statues that con oj. The guardians are neutral, the Vigilants are aggro.
-Kill all the vigilants, and the boss will pop.
-Kill the purple boss, but watch out since he likes aggroing the healers before they do anything.
-Go into the ruins, climb to the second floor, cross a log.
-Drink the potion and get a note.
-Return to Breward

Tips:
Locs on the mobs:
All the mobs are in Green Glades.
Head SW from town to get to the centaurs.
Head SE from town to to the self maintaining statues.
Both of the above mobs are near the haven.
The cyclops were a bit harder to find. They were on the other side of the ruins where we fought the statues.
As for the stone king and his minions, the journal entry gives the general area, southern edge of the map, near the next zone. Based on Kallista's maps, that would be the circle at 45k, 55k.
And as Chanc said, the pathing for the vigilants is atrocious. One couldn't find a way to us, and ended up giving up while he was still in nuke range. You can always go in to kill them, but avoid the AoE so as not to aggro the neutral guardians.
Oh, one last thing, the NPC gives dialog option at the end, asking if we befriended the Stone King or killed him. We both answered truthfully and got the cloak. I do not know if there is an alternate reward if you answer that you befriended him. However, considering that I have seen a post here detailing another quest that denies you the item if you answer in a certain way, you might not want to try this on your main.

I found that Stone King, in a Stone King quest not Grape, he is Red to 50. Any statues are resistant to all kinds of melee and arrows. 11/7

The cyclops agnomon in Arbor Glen give NO credit, they have to be the ones south of the self-maintaining statues. 11/7

at the final encounter where the Vigilants spawn there is 4 of them to kill orange con , you need to kill all of them , the guardians yes are neutral and after you kill the 4 Vig's the guardians form up into the Stone king, he popped red con to us. One "Note" of attention {{{ The Pathing around the Vigilants and the Stone King really really SUCK ! }}} my pet went to attack we got aggro and pet stopped dead in his tracks and we had to go up to the mobs and pull them to the pet ! only way we could fight them . That included the Stone King with all his attacks. Pet just stood there and would NOT attack , need to pull mobs to pets if you wish to fight them that way.

Its the same reward if you answer either way.
The cyclops hit HARD, one was doing 250-330 each hit on my pally, not fun.
As for the vigilant guards, rush em. Anyone outside of a certain distance gets hit by a cold spell for about 200 damage each hit. Think of it as a donut Aoe with the hole being around the mobs. There is a pair near the neutral guards, just bring them together to overlap the safty zones and crush em, they're real wimps.

The reward after the Stone King quest (for lvl 50 char) is 30 gold, 2,076,180,480 XP and a quest Cloak (hooded, purple in color). I tryed to click on both choices in a last step of this quest (had 2 chars and one picked Killed King, the other got Made Friends) , same result.. Both of me still had a same reward 11/7
